I’m David Cody Haggerty, a multimedia specialist based out of Murrieta, California whose passion for art and media run deep. As far back as I can remember, I’ve had a camera in my hands or a mouse under my hand, creating imagery and graphics. This passion and experience led me down a path of chasing my dream.
You can typically find me on location at a sporting venue, in a studio shooting product, or even conducting my own photographic experiments to continue my own personal growth, feeding my curiosity and passion. I’ve always felt as if there wasn’t such thing as too much knowledge or experience, and have always felt as if I should always add to my “tool set” maintaining and tinkering all the time, whether its digital/analog medias, marketing, or using social tools.
Work, in the sense of a career, has always been a way to use and outlet my own creativity and skill set, bringing the best I can to the company and projects I produce. While working my “dream” job at the time, I decided to turn my passion and experience into something I can take even further.
Until then, an Albert Einstein quote summed me up pretty well. Einstein stated, “I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.” I decided to rectify the lack of “special talent” and enroll in the Brooks Institute Professional Photography Program to help form and build more of a technical background to compliment my skill set. There I found more technical knowledge, a better focused mindset, as well as a continuation of constantly adding to my own skill set. I since graduated from Brooks in December 2013 with a B.F.A. in Photography..
